Ethiopian dining guide | Cafe Abyssinia
How injera works
Injera is the soft sour flatbread under the meal and in your hand. Tear a piece and use it to scoop stews and vegetables.
What to order first
Start with doro wat, tibs, or a veggie combo. You will get berbere, slow-cooked stews, and plenty to share.
Sharing at the table
Most plates are built for passing around. Order a few dishes for the table and try everything together.
Spice and comfort
Some dishes bring real heat, especially with berbere. If you are new to Ethiopian food, ask and we will help you choose.
